Registration

Registration for GETMAD 2026 is now closed.

The Course
The Redmond Cycling Club is proud to announce a new gravel event that takes riders from Enumclaw through Buckley and South Prairie via the Foothills Trail before climbing to Mowich Lake in Mount Rainier National Park along a private access road exclusive to cyclists.

This new event is designed to challenge riders on gravel while restoring access to an area that has largely been cut off since the closure of the Fairfax Bridge.

RCC has been working closely with local communities and Mount Rainier National Park to help bring this event to life.

Registration will open May 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The ride will take place on July 23, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM in Enumclaw.

The following is an unofficial course for planning purposes. Please check for the official version when we finalize the course. Also be aware the course traverse PRIVATE lands and may not be open to the public. GETMAD will be provided access during our event.

We have been able to scout the first section of gravel through the private land area. It starts at the Voight Creek (Patterson) Gate and climbed to the Montezuma Gate, where Mowich Lake Road (SR 165) begins.

The gravel was a little chunky in places but overall in great condition. It was done on 40mm tires but 38mm tires would likely be fine as well. Gearing was done on with a 38T chainring and 38T cassette cog for a true 1:1 low gear.

The descent was a blast—fast enough to be fun, but never sketchy or out of control.
