Redmond Cycling Club

The Redmond Cycling Club, Inc. (RCC) are stewards of the Northwest's premier cycling event: Ride Around Mt. Rainier in One Day (RAMROD). RAMROD is a single-day event that celebrates the beauty of Mount Rainier National Park and features a challenging course of 150 miles and 10,000 ft of climbing.

Started in 1978, RCC is a non-profit club dedicated to creating a community for experienced cyclists who love challenging cycling. The club reaches out to cyclists in Redmond, Seattle communities and the Pacific Northwest.

IMPORTANT RAMROD 2026 UPDATE

Despite Redmond Cycling Club’s best efforts, we are unable to reach an agreement with Mount Rainier National Park that would permit any future RAMROD course. The only options—a route outside the Park, which we feel does not capture the essence of RAMROD, or a post–Labor Day date, which is too late in the season—are not viable.

With deep regret, we must announce that RAMROD will not take place in 2026. We view this as a pause rather than a conclusion and remain committed to pursuing future opportunities, including the possibility of returning in 2027.
